This is an original Lamiglas 2702 blank built in the traditional Don Robb fashion. Nice little crisp 5wt. 
My Lamiglas 7 foot, one piece, 4 wt. aptly named, "Suicide Blonde"
Lamiglas 7 ' 3 pc. 3 wt. Nothing fancy, but oh what fun to fish. I will be putting some pictures of some blanks I have laying around on the "Rod Building and Tackle
Tinkering" page.

Scud, the ferrules on the "Classic" Lami are Wright McGill nickle silver ferrules. My mentor did not like anything flashy on a fly rod, earth tones,
and no tinsel. When I install "metal" ferrules, I always wrap them completely, Even my first few cane rods had these ferrules on them as I had them
readily available, and the rods were "experiments" so I wrapped them with nylon thread to match the rod. Old habits die hard.... I did blue a set
on a cane rod, but I like the wound look on these ferrules. Now if they were Super-Z or GW ferrules, I would blue them as those ferrules are works of art
themselves.
