    HIked up to a nearby lake for the first time this year, is one of
my fav spots on earth. About a third of the lake still froze, icebergs floating around. Caught two freezing, starving brookies. Dozens of Mountain Goats on the
rocks above the lake. Enjoy.

Keith those pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Try to explain to someone from the flatlands how spectacular the high country lakes are is impossible without
photos. I hope you get up there a lot and post some more photos.
Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time. |

Nice photos of the Cabinets, Keith! (and the dogs, too)
I was out hiking, wading, brush busting, rock and hillside scrambing, (and fly fishing, too) on a couple of rivers in north Idaho on Thursday and Friday. The older I get, the hills are getting steeper, and the streams seem to be getting more slippery. Not sure how many more years I'll be blessed with this, so each time out is sacred. Good to see that the dogs are keeping you young! Tom
