I took it out for some test casting on the lawn. Since I don't have a 6wt in DT or WF I used the WF5F. It was a nice, smooth easy cast. The more line that went out the more the rod came alive. I agree with Duff this rod is more suited for a 6WT line then a 5. So now I need to aquire a DT6F. Here are a few shots of the new rod with it's brothers... #8381, #8383, and #8387 Now I just need to find the other 2...but I think now I need to get another #8381. The wife wants one instead of her H&I 7'9". Man if she would just make up her mind. She also wants to get one of the Heddon Daisy 310s also. Which is okay with me, I told her she could have mine once I get me a 3 1/4" JW Young reel...haha!!!! Tight Lines, Harley Lk. Stevens, Wa.

I keep saying I NEED a Heddon Pal, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on a deal yet. Catch and Release fishing is a lot like golf. You don't have to eat the ball to have a good time.
