It's rare that I get to show Joe Cornwall (Cornmuse) new water and this lake was only ten minutes from our homes. A nice public park with walking trails
surrounding and the lake was full of fish. As I'd just finished testing out the proverbial crap-load of 2wts, I decided that some classy glass was in order
so I broke out the TL Johnson 7' 4wt, paired
with a Battenkill Barstock II and a SA Kreh 4wt WF line. One of my favorite combos. Joe is still in the middle of rod testing so he had to go Ultra-Light
tonight. We basically had the entire lake to ourselves. Something that probably won't occur farther into the summer. Here are some pics.

Took this fellow on the second cast of the evening, with a #12 mini-clouser.
The term Baby and Largemouth seem diametrically opposed but they gotta start somewhere.
Joe C. with a fish on. His faithful pup Gracie was literally sitting on the canoe seat with her head between his knees. Funny. Sorry for the angle. Looks like the lake is tipping over.
Fat boy of the night. Took a neon green #8 Predator like he was a brookie sipping tricos
