You might want to give him a call. Would one of the 9 foot Sceptres that were on eBay awhile back do? It was a two piece spigot ferruled blank, but it could have a couple more spigots added to it. I'm hoping to find a heavier rod for travel. Both will go with me. I like to always have a spare. I hate to think that I might end up building a Carbon rod. I'll check Steffen Bros. I'm only kidding about cutting the Golden Eagle, but the thought keeps crossing my mind, so I hope to find something before I do something I might regret. RFMcD
