Master Guide Posts: 742 (05/26/09 01:31:09) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	hey guys (and gals), i just got a new ODC 420 and i'm hoping you can enlighten me some. the triangular vinyl piece behind the seat really fills up with water. my boy has a fatcat and that same section in his boat has the drain-holes in a different spot (right behind the seat on either side) and it drains way better. so here's the question. do you think i can just carefully cut a few well placed holes? the ODC holes have metal grommets, but the outcast boats are just round holes. any ideas here would be greatly appreciated. thanks! -mike

Is it loose fabric at that point? What I mean by loose is, if you cut holes there by the seat, it won't tear or rip. I myself wouldn't worry about it (or wait until the warranty is up). when you get out of the water, just tilt the tube and drain the water through the front > (the vee section). It happened on my SFC and the H3. It's no big deal. It'll only take on so much water. If you put something back there, it has to be in a dry bag. Master Guide Posts: 744 (05/29/09 00:42:18) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	that's good to kow mojo. i figured with the drain holes more optimally located, the SFCs wouldn't do that. so maybe it's a non-issue. i figured the 1.5-2" of water in that v-section would slow you down a bit. but i guess i won't be needing to set any speed records anyway. thanks for the perspective.
