I'm wondering if anyone on board might know in which order these Pridexs were manufactured. They are identical in color and design except the 3 1/4 has the
"Registered Design" stamp on the back (and the obvious difference in boxes). Thanks in advance.

Frank ,I think the 3 1/4 is the older of 2 .The box makes me think so as have seen lots more of 3 1/2 style boxes . Those are a great pair of Pridex,s like new

I believe your box on the left is older
the rods are never obsolete - the marketing is.

Besides these later black models which shared similarities with their Beaudex counterparts, was there an earlier Pridex with a ported spool like that Beaudex?
