A month or two ago I mentioned my thinking on doing some rods that I will call my 50th Anniversary rods. I have decided to go with them. So far I have two of
five done and the other three blanks should come in tomorrow. The rod will be a two piece 7' rod reminiscent of my favorite rods of the 50's. I am also
thinking of doing a group of five 6 foot rods too. I am working with Joel on a special small reel seat for those rods. Give my page on the rod a look, and

Dave, Amazing rods. You have a real gift. 50 years? That is awesome! I really like the grip on the one with the red wraps. Very nice.

Dave's prices are cheaper than a Sage factory rod with better guides, much better epoxy work, better realseat and better workmanship all around. I consider this a bargain.
