About the only thing that could make it any better was to get a 50% senior citizen discount too.
The serial number begins with an "H" which I beleive makes it about 1967 vintage.

Thrift shop + Senior Citizen discount lands a Fenwick Feralite Voyageur |

I stopped off at a local thrift store this morning looking for a shelf for my daughter. After not having much luck on finding the the shelf I thought I would
check out a makeshift sporting goods section. I couldn't beleive it. Here was this vintage Fenwick Feralite Voyageur pack rod model FF 75-4, 7 1/2 footer
3 1/2 oz with correct sock, and Westminster,CA aluminum tube. It is used little, almost minty.

You have got to be kidding! That NEVER happens to me. Congratulations! You really ought to tell us what you paid to make it even more amazing.

Very nice score. If the thrift store supports a charity, you should remember it in your will, especially after you cash in on galleta loco's lottery
recommendation. No telling what fate you rescued the "pole" from.
I have an FF70-4 (also an "H") and an FF756-4. They are both nice rods and I think you'll find this to be one you'll make sure gets some work. |

Nice find! I have the same rod including bag and tube, except mine is the 8-foot model FF80-4. The FF80-4 is one of my favorite rods.

Thom, I was. I was grinnin', laughin and had to suppress a big whoop'n holler. I couldn't wait to take a couple of pictures and post them on the
forum. I have been unbelievably lucky the last year in finds at thrift antique stores and pawn shops. But nothing will ever come close to the once in a
hundred life times what I found in a pawn shop in November. It has nothing to do with fly fishing or I would post some pictures.
