Trying to figure out what the differences are. Something about the look of the ME draws me to that one, i think it may be the wider / flatter ring. Thanks for any input. -Rob

Timely Post! I've been wonding the very same thing... It appears that the "MC" is heavier construction, and the ring sits higher. The "SRMC" just looks "lighter". I'm thinking that for a rod <= 7'6" of 5wt.or lighter the SRMC would be better? And the "MC" for >= 8'0" rods of 6wt or heavier? I'm thinking that I'll use these guides on the Sceptres I plan to build, one is 7'0" and the other is 8'6"...
