First decent fly rod I ever found in an antique mall. 10 1/2' Loch rod for 7/8 weight line, with a screw cap on the butt so a handle extension can be fitted. The rod length isn't stated on the rod, but notwithstanding the differing lengths of the rod sections, I think that at exactly 10' 6", it's the original full length. I never thought much about doing the Spey Cast thing before, but there's a first time for everything...
