I have a couple of questions regarding Medalist reels:
When Pflueger went to the adjustable drag and dual pawls around 1938 the 1492 was not modified with these changes until around 1952 for the dual pawl and no adjustable drag?
Is 1952 or around 1952 when Pflueger made the changes to the Medalists straight pillars, plastic spool latch cover, rectangular Diamolite line guard, ect.?
From 1939 to 1952 there were no modifications to the Medalist other than dropping various models?
