Floyd is a constant tinkerer
he showed me both straight knurls and his rope knurl, and I've never seen any quite like either one of them, so I'm sure he cuts them all.
He also mortises mesquite into his rods - here's a 4-wt. he fishes, in some photos he shared with me when were first talking about this project. (we also fish every month or so) - his next photo of this rod will probably have the Kusse on it.

Floyd's day job has him on the road, so it's usually easy for him to drop by here, or we meet at the river to fish.
A mutual friend, Mike A. is building a rod with him, so I might want to drop by one day and check on the progress of Mike's rod.
He posted a very nice series of photos showing his tools and workshop - unfortunately, it was in the lease-members-only section on grtu.

As far as I know, Floyd has never sold a rod, Richard (his sons have some really trick fishing poles), but I will pass your request on to him.

Cam, talk about the toys - the path was so twisted here.
When I saw that I wanted to buy a Kaskapedia, I knew I could sell this 4Bros Delite to a regular buyer in Japan to pay for it.
So I sold the Delite, bought the K, had the Kusse as a spare and Floyd contacted me about it out of the blue.
OK, it works for me.
