Behold the Red Wizard! |

Well fellas I took out my recent addition to my H-I collection. A Red Wizard #1262 8ft that would cast a 6DT nicely, but all I brought was a 5WF (it worked
out). I went to the Fall River and found an amazing hatch of midges and baetis. I landed 10 nice trout, all on the dry. It was a good day. Did I mention it was
in the middle of a blizzard. It sure is hard to keep your eyes on a size 22 fly when it is snowing like the dickens. Not complaining though........can't.

Way Cool,
I have a 8ft HI that throws a nice 5wt, I will have to see if it has a name on it. Keith |

you gotta love versatile glass. and i appreciated the lord of the rings allusion...and it's a cool name for a rod too. i think more manufacturers should
have taken some of their rod names from JRR Tolkien and Ron Howard books. cool names like the red wizard.

flynbird...get to see you getting out in the snow...and that rainbow trout certainly hasn't been missing to many meals. Nice and stocky...and finding them
all on dry flies...in the winter...is a very cool experience.

Just a quick heads-up about winter fishing- if you plan to release fish when it's subzero weather, you should do it extra quickly, otherwise the water on
their gills will freeze in the frigid air. Once that happens, they have a tough time recovering from it.

It was above freezing that day. All fish where released in banner shape.
