Last December I ordered a fiberglass rod and looked forward to having it for the California fishing season. I was told the rod would probably be done by February. It wasn't. Now the CA season is almost over and the rod is still not done. I was told in August the rod was almost finished and would be shipped soon. Since then I have not heard from the maker ~~ I know that life sometimes gets in the way of what we have planned ~~ but we are nearing the middle of November ~~ almost a year since I placed the order. How long is too long to wait? I realize that a lot of things come into play in the question ~~ the desire for the rod, the quality for the rod, the reputation of the maker, etc... What do you think ~~ how long is too long for a fiberglass fly rod?

I am little frustrated with this process ~~ so if that comes through more negatively in the post ~~ please forgive me.
