The Cortland rod repair shop had a few blanks left a couple of months ago. ~$150 each. I don't know of any other suppliers with blanks in stock. There are still a few scattered rods out there in shops. Grab them if they have what you want. Don't expect Cortland to be able to repair any rods under warranty, so factor that into the price.

Sadly, I don't expect that Cortland will sell Diamondglass again in any way, shape, or form. They have a completely new line of me-too graphite rods made overseas. Our best hope is for a third party to buy the rights and old equipment from Cortland.

Update: Bill's advice below is sound. The Factory store cannot get you a Diamondglass rod blank. I bought two Dglass blanks a couple months ago - it takes some persistence. Either call Tom Brown as Bill describes and have him transfer you, or call the toll free number 1-800-847-6787 and ask to speak with Chris or Stephanie. They should know about the Diamondglass blanks. Tell them you want to purchase a Diamondglass blank, but that there is no information in their computer, the blanks are in the repair shop (if they look in the computer first, they will think the blanks are gone). They will write up the order and give it to Tom Brown. Tell them the size(s) you want, give them your payment particulars, and then your shipping preference (UPS or FedEx Ground). Tom will pack the blanks and ship them out. Delivery took about a week.

When I spoke with Tom Brown in September, he had 15-30 of any particular blank. There are no factory built rods left either. Once these are gone, that is it! Tom left me with very little doubt that the Diamondglass production line won't start again. If you have been wanting a Diamondglass rod, now is the time to buy a blank and build it (or have it built).
