Im in, most likely it will be a 10 day to two week road trip up the coast for me, so will be driving up in a Jeep Grand Charokee, I can lay the seats back and
sleep in the back if necessary, however sense its gonna be an extended road trip I would prefer some local motel information if you could post it, as well
where to eat nearby.
If we are going to be doing some fishing on Friday the 23rd then I will plan on arriving and getting checked in on Thursday night. Will pm you. Richard |

there is chow at the Camp Sherman store right there on the Metolius. Sisters is the nearest town, has a great pizza and beer place and and old timey drive-in
with good food and great shakes.

Hey Guys, Here are some links of the area including Sisters which is under 30n minutes away.
The closest fly shop is also the Camp Sherman Store but here is a link the the largest shop close by: http://www.flyfishersplace.com/home23 Here is a link for the metolius Recreation Area it includes Camp Sherman Store and Metolius river lodging. Staying close to the river is a little costly so look for off season rates: http://www.metoliusriver.com/index.html Sisters is a really neat little town. Rockthief is right about the food and it is good. Lodging should be less in Sisters: http://www.sisterschamber.com/Visit-Sisters/Lodging/default.aspx I hope this helps let me know if there are more questions. -Thom |

The Metolius is one of the most beautiful streams you will ever see. I never tire of it and it takes my breath away to see it bubbling out of the ground,
easing its way north then blasting thru the canyons. It is God's own river.

Hay Mike been starting on getting ready for the Clave. So how old is your boy and what dates would you guys be interested in logging. Basically the differnce
in a cabin/room for a twin vs a double is $3 and a roll out for the kid another couple of bucks. So what days would you be interested in? you can message me

Hi Mike, got it, back to you, looking forward to fishing with everyone this fall, Im working on several rods just for this clave, so will give you guys a
chance to play with some of my makes while we have some fun.
Im planning for this portion of the clave on fishing 7/8wts and if need be will have 10/11wt glass in the car, as well sense its a road trip will have 5/6wts too. Richard |

Well, I'm still watching this with great interest. Would love to join up for this. Wife and I usually take 2 weeks in Sept, but her work may push us into
Oct. Probably early Oct though, have to see how it plays out. Just picked up a fenwick F85 for the trip!

Not sure if I'll be able to make it. Have some things I'm dealing with, and not sure I'll be up to fishing at that time. We'll see how things
progress. I probably won't know until around September if I'll be up to it or not.
I'm a Steelheader and I'm a Fenwick Man! If I'm fishing glass, you bet it's gonna be a Fenwick!
