Hey Joni,
If your furled leaders are any indication of your fly tying talents, we're all in for a treat. Lou |

How does this swap work?

hey flynbird,
the swap is for 12 people including me. You can choose any fly you want to tie as long as you use it to catch trout. Tie 12 of them, put tags on them with your name, email, fly name etc or whatever you want, mail them to me in a crushproof container along with an envelope and postage for return, and when I get everyone's flies, I will divide them up and send one of each fly back to each person in the swap, so you send in 12 of the same fly and get back 12 different flies. Hope that answers your question, would love to have you if you want to join. -Rob |

Rob,
Count me in! I will tie my early spring nymph I call The Smidge. It is a great April fly for the trout here in Central OR. Thom |

TWO MIDGES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! | ||
|
OK...if Fly Goddess is sending two flies...then I should too. These little midges are SMALL.
I'll send one of these...
...and one of these as well...
These two Krystal Flash Midges are my best producers on any waters where midges are in play. |

If available, I will take the last slot and send some soft hackles or spiders. Most likely a Starling and Red or Partridge and Red.

Rob, after fishing at the Norfork last week, I am going to switch flies. I had great success with a brassie, and a pink scud. Which would you guys prefer. I
caught more fish on the brassie. With cooler temps, and trout stockings taking place all over the south, I think subsurface would be better.

Russ, either one works for me. Pink Scuds work great here, but so do Brassies....flip a coin.

Yep flip a coin. No worries.
Or do both. Thom |

Hello
I finished my flies on Saturday . They went out in yesterdays mail I added a dozen woolly buggers but I didn't tie them they were in a box I received with enough woolly buggers for a couple of life times. I also tossed in some other goodies, I hate to send partially empty priority mail boxes. Are we going to post our fly recipes and instructions ? No one ever mentioned shipping cost Rob do I need to send you a check to cover shipping and if so just let me know what you need. Tight Lines and Swapped Loops Andy M PS I just went back and read the thread over again I missed the Shipping fee for return shipping I will get the cash off to you today.
