First off hello, I'am new to the board and new fiberglass flyrods. I'm excited to learn about fiberglass rods. Well yesterday a buddy of mine came to
me wanting to learn how to fly fish and he brought with him a old flyrod. Well he ended up buying a new rod and I traded him some flies for this rod. It's
a Shakespeare Wonder Rod. Under were it says wonder rod there is a big "S". It has not identifying numbers on it because they have all worn off. It
is a brown with almost a woodish look to it. I has black lines going all the way around it and up it. The guides are wrapped brown and yellow. It is a 9ft 2
piece also and it throws a 6 wt line very well. I've only fished this rod once and had it for less than a couple hours and I love it already so can anybody
tell me anything about it, like what model it is, what species it was intented for, as of right now I'm using it for smallmouth bass. I would really like
to know when about it was made.
