Between the wind, prolonged snow melt, and a busier than planned summer I haven't had a chance to hit the water yet, but since I'm going up to Reno
once a week I fly over all the Sierra Nevada east slope rivers that are on this years itinerary. Here are some of them, as I see them flying in to Reno in the
morning on Southwest (aka flying bus)
Number 1, East Fork of the Walker
Number 2, West Fork of the Walker
and
Number 3, Carson River
Flow gauges are looking pretty good, so I'm planning on driving instead flying on my next trip.
