I would fish it! There were a lot of Heddons made and you won't be risking a big collectibles loss in my humble opinion.

fish it or sell it and buy a rod you will fish. That Pal is a beauty and will be fabulous with a fine reel on it. I think you will enjoy casting that rod.

Beautiful rod, great find! IMO, It would a shame not to use that rod as it was intended to be used. If it were me, I'd fish the hell out of it.

I like it and just happen to have a pot full of Conolons, if your not happy with that jewel perhaps we can work up a swap, Ive only recently found Heddons to
have some outstanding rods and yours looks like it could well be one of them.

What else can I add but the only thing that would make that rod prettier is a fish attached to a line cast by it!
