I have read that the gentleman who makes the One Pfoot parts is now, or soon will be back in production. Has anyone got an update? I wonder how soon the parts will again be available? I got a couple of reel feet replacements for my Pflueger Medalists a couple of years ago, but I sure would like to get some more goodies from him.

I've been in touch with Bill. He's excited about the project coming back on line.
He has a backlog of orders, so I recommend trying to contact his normal vendors for parts rather than him. He is planning to finally add YoungPfeet to his website, as soon as he gets a few parts made up. |

I also heard from Bill, and he's plenty glad to be back in action, but mightily backlogged at the same time. To say the least, it's wonderful news. We should all be patient as Bill rekindles his business.

Is this the source I have heard of that can provide a foot for a Medalist that will allow me to mount it on a "modern" Sage?? Or, is my lifestyle from the 60s causing flashbacks?

...Bill is a great guy!!... we're all glad he's well again and getting back in action!!... He's "PIMPED" (as Bill would say) a few reels for me... I use them frequently on big waters as well as small... excellent stuff and solid as a rock!...

Just speculating, it will probably take him several months to get a bit caught up in back orders. I'm sure looking forward to tricking out at least a couple of my Medalists. I might even shoot the works on one of them, and really "dude" it up. I think the first thing I will get from him will be some spool counterbalances. I know his products really take the old Medalist to the its ultimate level... kind of like turning a plain Jane Chevy into a Cadillac.
