I think I saw a 2094 sell on ebay not too long ago for about $15. CrustyBugger

I have seen them go for as little as $10 but as has already been stated the older brass footed(black painted) and/or latch models are up there. Respectfully rvreclus

They are much rarer. You can get the more recent GEM's for much, much less. Sorry, but if you want a phone latch model, that's what you're going to have to shell out. In fact, $150 isn't a bad price for a nice phone latch/black footed model. CrustyBugger

I just bought one outright for $195. this reel was boxed 5/41 and I paid $15, but it needed a handle, which I replaced with OnePfoot part the rods are never obsolete - the marketing is.

I did not notice the latch I just thought they were black footed. What would be a good price for just the BF model and when were they made? Has anyone ever written a book or a paper on old Pfluegers?
