I make my own decals with an Alps Printer. I can' t write on a round surface even though I spent 25 years on a drawing board.

Barry, Phil uses gold decals on his shop rods. Please don't tell Phil, but I think Jim's black type decal looks nicer. I also like the way that rod
looks. That jasper color is right for that blank and compliments the wood nicely. That's a sweet looking rod!

I agree with you on the thread and decal. Although I've never seen any of Phil's labels/decals, I can't imagine them looking any better than the one that littlejr made. IMO, the Black decal really looks sharp on that color blank. Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you. |
