One of the ideas for 2009 that Tom and I have been talking about is trying to do a "FLY OF THE WEEK" post where a fly photo would be posted with the
tying recipe. I'd be most interested in weird and unusual patterns that you might not see in the fly bins of most fly shops.
What I would like to do is have interested members submit patterns to me with a photo and recipe and I'll put the post together and give you full credit for the tie. Tom and I will have to figure out a way to catalog these flies for future reference.
Along with a fly photo and recipe...a fish photo or short story about a fish caught on that fly would be neat as well.

I want to take the next two months putting these posts together and have the first one ready to post the first week of January. Hopefully we'll have enough patterns submitted to update a new fly once a week or at worst once every two weeks.
