Well since I'm waiting on a shipment of olive hackle for a customer's flies, I decided to tie up some bass flies. I've been wanting to use up some
of the lambs wool that I have collected over the years (hint, hint) and wanted to see what it would do for a serious bass fly. Now I'm not an expert Fly
Flinger of Bass, but I would venture a good guess that this fly might work for bass that are possibly on/around their beds. I also am going to tie some up for
the upcoming Bull Clave...

Wow, looks great, Harley. What a great, dense, head, especially in a larger size fly. You could probably make some pretty large baitfish with that as a head
material. Nice job!

Very nice. I think it would work well along the New England coast and salt water estuaries for stripers and blues.

Neat, I do believe that would work for bass. What size hook ?

I like the wool! I haven't tried that yet but I know there is some stashed around here somewhere. I've been using EP fibers and putting rubber legs in
the mix. The white one in front has seen battle with numerous bass. Cast the white one out there and if it "disappears" while you are retrieving it,
you probably have a fish on. Great fly. Great tie.

HD...what a cool looking pattern. I agree with flyslinger that it would be neat to see that fly disappear underwater and then feel the tug of a fish.

Harleydeen,
Very impressive streamer, they are my favorite flys to fish with. Respectfully rvreclus
