If it's not too late to offer another suggestion, how about Prairie Drifter Rods "Duet" Series?

I didn't vote. But if "Duet" were there, I would.

boarmountain...if you wanted to pair a name with it from your local area how about the "Yellowstone Duet"?

Cameron wrote: Good idea, Cameron. I could envision a certain line weight rod combo named after a appropriate local water followed by the duet name. 3 wt series: Slough Creek Duet 4 wt series: Firehole Duet 5 wt series: Yellowstone Duet 6 wt series: Madison Duet I have no idea if the above waters are appropriate or not for the line weights. |

Duet! Very nice. I like the idea of different names for different combos.

Thanks for everyones input. I like the "DUET" series. I haven't decided on the river names. I didn't want to "lock" in any lengths
, as the beauty of this series is the choice of rod lengths that the customer can choose. All the input has helped alot.

deriving the rod series name from a musical vocabulary
is simply ingenious! man, I just love the way this internet "crowdsourcing" thingy works. good stuff. Webster's definition of duet: a composition intended for two performers. perfect! or if you wanted to get all Renaissance-y Latin on it: "bicinium" either way...

learning the intimate characteristics of the fish and streams we fish most."

I like it too. Du implies ACTION and Et implies what you did with that nice fat trout from the Madison or otherwise. JMHOffering. G
