We went to visit my wife's parents in the low country of South Carolina, so I took a short while to visit
a blackwater stream that winds through a marsh on the back of the property. The waters of these creeks are stained dark tea color year round from decomposing
plant matter, with tree roots giving much of the structure. No huge fish, but some pretty panfish and bass that I am sure have never seen an angler.
No wet wading here who knows what is in this water, this is why I keep hip boots in the car. Plenty of snakes.
Turned a few small bass, but these guys gave much of the action.
