I bought this reel for my son as the very first gift I ever gave him when he was born in 1985. I actually had a friend buy it for me in the U.K. and ship it
over to me in the States. Back then the dollar was fairly strong, and it cost $75.00. What was odd was the shop in London asked my friend what in the world I
planned to do with such a small model Perfect. Evidential they only regularly sold the 2 larger models which had more capacity.
In terms of a lesson learned, at the same time I also invested $100 in the stock market for my son. I think that investment is now worth about $50.00.
