I go to this place once a while to get away from stream and spend time with my kids. Caught this good size Silver Catsfish 5 or 6 lb or something, not sure.
Usually small size one will end up on my dinner table, but not this one I guess

When to this paypond with my kids the other day. A really good place to spend with family. It's kind of mini resort where you can stay overnight.

nice full-bodied cat! i did the same thing as a kid, keeping the smaller, better-tasting catfish. they fry up nicely! as always, your green, tropical pictures
do me world of good. like a nice flashback to my youth. thanks a ton!

Thanks guy. Silver catfish is quite a strong fighter, maybe quite similar to carp I think and can put serious parabolic bend to glass rod. That's our local
version called Patin.
The other version is Mekong Catfish or Pla Buk origin from Thailand which can grow even bigger, much much bigger. BTW it taste good |
