This is my first post to my first internet chat room, which should indicate how high fiberglass rods are on my list of priorities.
Back in the late 70's I built an ultralight on a Fewick Feralite 5'3", 2-pc blank. It is still a sweet rod and tosses 1/16oz Rapalas on 6lb Tectan a remarkable didtance.Unfortunately I did not apply finish to the decal so I don't know the blank #.
Does anyone know the # and if this is the same blank that Fenwick used for its FS53, a rod that commands good prices at auction on-line these days. I have been trying to locate Fenwick Rod-Building Handbook from that era but have been unsuccessful. Thanks for any info you can impart !!
