You will have to use a Dremel thin cut-off and cut the end of the handle spindle off, since this handle is riveted, while the Meisselbach on the Creative thread has a screw-in handle spindle. Bill's handle kit has a press-fit head that goes over the spindle and holds the new handle in. I have found a c-clamp is the best way tp press in the new head. I have ivory-colored and amber handles here and can do the work. the rods are never obsolete - the marketing is.
