I just want to add my findings to what others have said that the Spring Creek blanks are apparently discontinued. We placed our order this morning. You are
never totally sure what you are going to end up with, but some of the blanks will be shipped right away others will be backordered and shipped later. Lamiglas
has been really good with me over the yeas and usually everything comes along in good time. The girl who took the order looked and couldn't find the Spring
Creek blanks anywhere in the inventory now. She looked for a good spell and came back with her understanding that they are no longer in the catalog. I should
have had Mary Lu talk with Mr. Posey, but it is late in the season and I have enough blanks to keep me going till spring and don't think I'll be doing
any more for a while, so I'll just let it rest. I do think if you would talk with Mr. Posey or a dealer rep you might get some action on those blanks. I
think they are two of the best blanks in their line, just a little more power and usually a little straighter, probably because the wall thickness is a little
more substantial. Lamiglas is an old guard company that has slid along all these years and survived through all the changes we have seen. They have probably
done that because they have recognized needs and tried to meet them. Glass is coming along strong. Their discontinuing any glass blanks is probably not a good
idea now and we probably should let them know that.
If I were younger and in better health, I would work hard to get them to come with new blanks especially ones in the heavier and longer range, but I'm just not in a position to push for new stuff any more and will have to leave that up to you younger guys.
