Just finished up another Riffle Glass build this weekend. This one is an 8' 4/5wt with Struble hardware and perfection snakes Wraps are Claret tipped
with black and white jasper silk.

I haven't settled on a line yet. Just going by the wiggle test, it's feels like more of a 5wt than a 4. I have a list of lines to try, a WF4 DT4 WF5 and a DT5. I try to let the epoxy cure for 48-72 hrs before any casting. I have never had a problem with the epoxy lifting or cracking and I don't want to start now. I played around a bit with some spiral wraps like I did on my last build but it just didn't appeal to me with these thread colors. It's not fancy but I like it. Doug |

Nice build. It's especially interesting how the twist tipping creates the optic illusion of being silver from a distance. I hope you like the rod. I've
been leaning towards buying that blank or the 7'6' 4/5 myself.
