Thanks for the kind words, Steve.
We dont have freshwater crocs in Malaysia - only the giant Salties.
So u wont see them in streams or lakes.

But we do have lotsa snakes here - Cobras, Phythons, Vipers...etc.
They're everywhere. just be careful where u step or hold and u should be fine...

hey jagori, are any of the vipers aggressive?
i grew up in central florida and the water moccasins (cotton mouths) could really bother you. the rattlers and coral snakes never messed with you at all. as kids, we'd sometimes carry those old school weed-whackers (looked like a golf club handle with a double-edged blade at the other end). some of the swampy places we used to play were just infested with 'em. of course my parents never knew that.

Well, these 3 species dont really mess with u - the Phythons & Vipers are quite "well-behaved". Apart from the King Cobra where they'll actually chase and scare u away or bite u if u're unlucky or not fast enough - now I really think they do this for fun...
