FF75 vs: FF755 Casting Action Differences ?

FF755 I have a FF75 (Thanks to DocBlueDevil) and have noticed there is a FF755 available elsewhere. Obviously, I like the 7'6" rods ... wondering if there is much difference between these two? I am "guessing" the FF755 is juts a little less soft .... any comments? The FF75 is a really "sweet" casting rod but from what I read here, in the WIKI, the 2nd Gen with e-glass was a little firmer. Thanks Ken PS: When the FF70 arrives and I have a chance to lawn cast (snow cast) it, I will offer some feedback in the separate topic I have also posted here.

I read a while back in another thread that the multi-piece fiberglass rods, unlike graphite, are a bit "softer" than their two piece counterparts. I haven't had the rod very long (end of last season) but it certainly is a "sweet rod" and, being a multi-piece, may become my favorite stream rod. I also own the FF706 which I have had for more years than I'd like to admit. It's a great all around rod with a more powerful flex and at 7ft is ideal out of a kayak or canoe. Would like to get all the mentioned rods side by side one day...maybe a clave in CT or MA this year. Lou

Lou Lou, the only input I can offer is: I have both the 756-4 and the 756 .... the 756-4 is more a 5wt, for me, whereas the 756 (2 piece) is more a true 6wt. Nice part is though, these are very versatile rods that can nicely handle multiple line weights with minimal adjustment of your casting stroke. A CT-Clave in the summer sounds like fun . Ken
