I recently acquired a Garcia Conolon rod (and old graphite reel) from one of the Honorary Life Members in our Trout Unlimited chapter. As a former chapter
president, I was pleased to find out it had once belonged to a Col. Schubauer, a charter member and first president of the chapter when it was founded 40 years
ago. Now I'd like to find out a bit more about the rod and what it may be worth.
The rod's in excellent condition. It's certainly been used, but lightly so. The label, which is full and complete, says:

6 1/2' Dry Fly Action
C - HCH - HCF - 6
There is also a Garcia logo decal a few inches up the blank with five yellow dots above it.
The grip is lightly soiled, but has no chinks or gaps. The metal of the reel seat is still shiny and unscratched.
The guides and wraps are full and complete. The blank has a few smudges and light scratches and is marred only by what appears to be two dots of white out or white paint added to allow the prior owner to line up the upper and lower sections of the rod.
So I guess I'm interested in whether it is collectable or just fishable, and if so, what line you would recommend for it.
