Hahaha, I have to agree Andy, I missed this one but the last have had exactly the same results, one reason members need to join the swaps whenever possible. I envey you guys I missed this one and its an outstanding group of flys.
How about we start a new one for after the new year. I tie my flys in winter and more able to join in.

Hi, well In not the one to usually start such things, one reason being the remoteness of my location and the fact Im often without power or phone service (modem internet connection) once the winter storms set in. Thus to be the host might cause unnecessary interuptions in communication and scheduling. However I would definately be up to a swap after the new year sometime.
We need some imput from other members on what type of flys they would want to do this time. For me, the fishing season is year round and in winter its cold and the water is cold, so the target is warry trout hidding in pockets. Close range sight casting. Im usually using an ultra light graphite rod 1-2wt, with alot of midges or nymphs, sometimes larve, sizes 24 and smaller. However it all changes with the hint of spring, The wets and terestrials are hot then and on the lake as well for the warming water and crappie and bass action as well. Anyway Im open for about any ideas, sense the swap would begin and January some time and most likely end in February, I would prefer a winter or spring fly type but open to all suggestions.
