I am going with the girlfriend for two weeks. I have been tying furiously to get ready (I've also been ordering lots of flies too). After talking to people
and researching, it looks like the best flies to bring are chernobyl ants, dries, and large foam beetle patterns. I have been tying size 4 beetles on 6x hooks.
They look like big bass bugs. There are also places to fish streamers and nymphs, we are told. We leave on 11/15, so hopefully everyone gets their flies in!

It's going to be a once in a lifetime trip, for sure. I am bummed that my fiberglass rods aren't easy to carry- I'm bringing my 4 piece rods.
I'll have to do some photoshopping and make the rods look brown, like my Fenwick, so you guys don't kill me!

Sorry guys I've been having some family emergency and am also swamped with work. I haven't been home recently so I can't say whether I've got
everyone's flies or not. I hope to get them sorted and sent this weekend. Thanks for bearing with me.

OK...I am not sure what is up with RCream. I hope all is well with him and his family. I put together my flies tonight and for being the last one to get them
sent off I am sending along four flies for each person.
Included will be two different types of San Juan Worms (Red and Chamois) and then two different Vinyl Rib Midges (Black and Red). Sorry I was a slacker. The flies will be sent USPS Priority in the morning. |

Hi everyone. Well my father is out of the hospital and doing great!!! I made it home finally, and now have the flies from everyone except Cameron and
deserttrout. As soon as I get those, the flies will go in the mail. By the way, these flies look awesome!, I think we have a really nice swap going here.

Rob, that's two of us...any other NE guys want to take a one day trip to the Swift River between Christmas & New Year's...or there abouts?
