I was looking at the above mentioned rod the other day and contemplating another purchase. It comes with the original tube and sock and to me visually appears to be in very good used condition. In fact the only thing that kept me from buying it on the spot was the fact that the second section down from the tip of the rod is noticeably less translucent than the other three sections, which are pretty consistent. When I examine the rod lying flat on a table I cannot detect any visual differences between the sections, the wraps all match and are original. This one section just isn't as translucent as the others.
Any thoughts/comments?
