At this point, all that is sure is Diamondglass rods are NOT in current production. IF Cortland sets up the production line and starts making rods again, I'm sure we'll hear about it. But with this long a layoff, my expectations are very, very low.

Meanwhile, if you really like your Dglass, you might want to start working on the shop owner to sell you any other ones you want. At a discount, of course. After all, the new models are rumored to have improved cosmetics, a new grip design, new reelseat, and a special logo rodtube to commemorate the re-release of Diamondglass and Diamondback rods. Once those new models hit the stores, he won't be able to give the old ones away*.
