I headed out once again to one of my favorite fishing spots. This Lagoon is a direct branch off the Colorado River near the town of Blythe.
I was anxious to try out a new Diamondglass 8ft. 5wt-3 rod I recently bought off one of the board members here.(thnxs. Jim)
The mourning was perfect, no breeze at all to speak of. Later that day the wind picked up and I had to resort back to the Fenwick FF807. Once the wind died
back down for the evening glass-off...I once again picked up the lil Diamondglass. Sweet rod and although I was using a dt line, I think it will really shine
once I try the Rio Clouser for the little foam bugs I was tossing.
The fish weren't big, but willing...

great pix ray, what camera were you using. amazing clarity. some of those shots looked like a neat spot i used to fish back in florida...where i would have

Mike, the Camera is a Nikon CoolPix 7900. This water does hold some big bass, along with Huge cat fish (20-50lbs) Bluegill etc...

Ray, nice post and excellent pics. Makes me want to get out and do some bass bugging again, something I haven't done is a few years.
