An honest fishing story and what must be a strong relationship. You also caught fish. I dunno what to say except congratulations and thanks for posting that tale. Its one of the better of the year.

I'm with corlay, if I get to fish when my family is with me, I'm amazed.

what a nice, and endearing, story.

When I take either, or both, of my kids fishing (ages 6 & 9)
I go in with the attitude:
If I get any opportunity to fish myself, that's just gravy.

I find that if I maintain this goal, everyone has a much better time.
I just imagine that I'm a pro-guide, and it's all about putting my "guests" on some fish;
and then enjoy the show...

But I really can't wait until the day comes...

Hey Everyone,

I'm embarrassed to say this but I've been fishing four times this year and have completely skunked, that is until yesterday when I finally got a day to go trout fishing up in Utah.

My wife and I took the day to drive up from Vegas to Beaver to fish the river there. It's still running a little high from the run-off but its starting to round into form. Did I say my wife AND I went fishing? Well let me give a little preface. I'm pretty religious...
