Hi,

I'm trying to find a glass stick for small streams. I'd like as light a rod weight as I can find (0-2wt.). Anyone know of a rod maker who does
 something like that?

 Thanks

Wow that's a lot of information! Thanks! The Steffen Bros. 1/2 6' two piece is so sexy, I almost can't resist it's charm. And you can't
beat the price for a blank.

Brookbum, I don't think you could do better than one of the Steffen rods. I think they make several short 1/2 weights. As for Japanese rods, the Axisco
Arrite 6'6" rod might be nice in a 2 weight. I have never cast one but the Axisco Arrite 7' 3 weight is one of the sweetest little rods I have
ever owned. They are however 6 piece pack rods which might not be what you are looking for.

What are some of the Japanese names I should look for? Right now I'm really leaning toward Steffen Bros.. They're so pretty and highly regarded.

Brookbum,
I like a lot of the rods already listed. Just adding to the list...
Hardy has a 2wt. + a pair of 3wts. Diamondglass use to make a 2wt. and three different 3wts. (if you can find them). South Fork has a 6'6" #2 and
6'6" #3 in E-glass and Kettle Creek Tackle Shop has 3/4s ranging from 5'10" up to 7'6". I also recall a place in New England that
offers some 4pc. 2's and 3's. Blue blanks/red wraps/silver tipping...? Does anyone recall...
