Looking at the reel seat & grip I would say that it was used just not abused. The writing is almost wore off but still readable. They sold a 9' 1/2" rod so this could be a fluke. Come to the Oregon Clave and I'll let you touch it. I will try to get some photos up later but I'm going camping this week.
