			<description><![CDATA[ Hey Mojo, speaking of white blanks, someone on this forum had a white Steffen blank a couple of years ago and they were discussing possible thread color
choices. I never heard any follow-up on it after that. It seems this was a blank Mark Steffen had made when he ran out of green material stock that he used to
use for blanks, and hadn&#39;t yet settled on his newer chestnut brown color....or something like that. Anyway, this blank was truly beautiful.

			<description><![CDATA[ I would cast my vote for a four-piece 8&#39;6&quot; 4/5 weight.  I would think weight might be an issue, however.  Maybe S-glass could be used.

As for color, I don&#39;t think you can beat the color of actual bamboo. Most yellow rods, including Phil&#39;s gloss bamboo, tend to be a bit too orange. 
Maybe Phil could make his bamboo color a little lighter and browner, closer to the bottom rod.  (Top to bottom:  Phil&#39;s Kettle Creek in gloss bamboo and
split bamboo)
