Here it is June and I haven't fished my Lami Honey 7 1/2' 4 weight yet. I built it in November and have been waiting for the right time to get it
christened. That time is coming up in two weeks and I'm wondering something. It casts a WF4F like a dream and I'm wondering how it would handle a DT3F.
Any info here would be appreciated lots.

Thanks,

I love the WF GPX 4wt line on mine. This setup is more for throwing streamers for native bass, not trout. You might like it bc. you will get your 60 feet cast
with this line.
I have used a DT4 on it with success. I have never tried a 3wt line, so I am not much help. I just wanted to chime in anyway!
The ultimate for me is the BS-100 sinking tip. This rod and line were made for each other.

Hey Joe I haven't tried the Lami 7'6" 4wt with a 3dt line but I regularly fish mine with a rio grande 3wf line (half line size heavy) and like it
better than the 4dt line I use to use it with. I think the kind of fishing a person does and the distances they normally cast help determine their line
preference and in my typical fishing day I'm casting less than thirty ft and with small dry flies; when I'm fishing my Lami.
