I need the expertise of this board again.

Could anyone tell me what this rod may be worth and any info. I sold one of these on this board last year but it was the 7' fly spin version.

I think this one is alot nicer.

6' one peice correct bag and tube. (Cool no ferules) This rod feels alot like the 6' Russ Peak Golden Zenith I sold last year.

thanks in advance

Hi Ribs,
Well in the case of this rod it appears to actually have some possibility of having had the actual mortised cut down on a machine cut, besides the yes, very
present indentation and stain, I agree 100% with both of you. Having over half a dozen of this model now including two prototypes, one early serial numbered
model and three later models.

The flat portion and quad grip were supplied final finished from a European maker to Garica Conolon by the case.

Very nice rod and great info from Everyone.

I do not believe you guys are talking about the same thing when it comes to the reel seat indentation. FF4GT is talking about that stain and slight
indentation on the rod and reelill is talking about the mortised, flat portion of the reel seat.

I think you guys need to talk a little more to clarify this.

The reelseat clearly has an indentation and stain from a mounted reel that is not factory.

Hi Richard,
Sorry I didn't get back to you today, we were out from early this morning till just a couple of hours ago taking care of some business.
Well certainly like I first said, your seat cuts could well be machined. For sure Ive not cornered the market on every early Wulff or prototype. A friend of
mine, Floyd Freeman was the senior fly rod maker in the old Narmco/Garcia Conolon custom shop and make most of the prototypes, still has a few I havent talked
him out of yet...

Now lets move on to the rod, let me say I have quite a few original 2070s now. What Im seeing in your cork reel seat with the imprint is either damage from a
