I am fishing it with a Leonard Rod Company New Old Stock 3/4 weight DT Line with a Martin MG-3 Tuna Can for a Reel.

The vintage six-footer you want for that is the Fenwick FF60 #5, IMO.
I had mine out again early yesterday morning,
chasing Brookies and Browns in some small, brushy head-waters.
I can't get enough of that little rod. Also with an all-cork handle/seat with 2 slide-rings.

I do not believe you guys are talking about the same thing when it comes to the reel seat indentation. FF4GT is talking about that stain and slight indentation on the rod and reelill is talking about the mortised, flat portion of the reel seat.

I think you guys need to talk a little more to clarify this.

The reelseat clearly has an indentation and stain from a mounted reel that is not factory.

Could anyone tell me what this rod may be worth and any info. I sold one of these on this board last year but it was the 7' fly spin version.
I think this one is alot nicer.
6' one peice correct bag and tube. (Cool no ferules) This rod feels alot like the 6' Russ Peak Golden Zenith I sold last year.
