As many of you know I have been busy working on my 2009 Limited Edition Series of rods.

This years series is Made on Reed Tackle blanks that were made in the early 70&#39;s.

The blanks were made in Australia for REED they are 7&#39;6&quot; 2 piece for a 5 or 6 weight line.

Allot of planning went into the series.

With the current market trend being exotic wood inserted reel seats and everything nickle and agate the &quot; Retro &quot;

design is not for everyone.

I decided since the blanks are so very scarce keeping the period style was a fitting tribute to earlier times

when rods were judged by their performance alone.

I have to tell you making rods Identical to one another is one of the hardest things a rod maker can undertake in my opinion.
<br>
Anyone can do one offs that&#39;s easy but keeping the quality and consistency throughout a series is not as easy as some may think.
