That being said, I get pretty good results from my "regular" sink tips with streamers as well. Enjoy, you can never have too many lines, just a
spool shortage.

Corlay,
Instead of cutting up your lines to make one particular line with an intermediate sink tip, you might want to try a poly leader, designated intermediate sink
rate. I believe they are $9-10. Then all you do is add a tippet(length and size of your choice), I believe they come in 10' lengths. They attach to your
line just like a tapered leader and they act just like ferruled leaders, great turn over, all the while acting the same as an intermediate sink tip line.

That was my perspective as well in regards to the Teeny BS-100...and the T-130 is 24'. I am typically catching fish out to a range of 40'. If you count
a 5' leader, then you essentially have 25' of sinking line out and 15' floating. Thats roughly a 65% sinking / 35% floating ratio (ain't I a

I will agree with one aspect of this discussion, an Intermediate line of appropiate wt will probably be best and cover the most situations easily.

For what it's worth, I've been experimenting with sink tip lines for 5-6-7wt rods. I have been building multi-tip lines from WF floating lines in the
6-7-8wt catagories. I've formed loops and have built tips out of various sinking lines, ranging from SA type I, II, III sink rates as well as T-8, LLC13
